Spiritual Warfare

Angels are all around us, if we've faith to see

Spiritual Warfare

I think it is true to say that we are in the midst of a great cosmic
struggle and the collatoral damage is the loss of so many souls.
The Woman Clothed With the Sun is the prophetess of these
end times and she will crush the Head of the Serpent and a period
of peace will be granted to the World.

Will we see this era of peace and obedience in our liftime?

What roll has our Guardian Angels and the Archangels in this
struggle? How do we draw on their help to overcome evil and
sin in and around us?

I have a very active relationship with my Guardian Angel and include him in most of the activities of my day. He, I've come to learn has a great sense of humor.
At mass early one morning I was thinking about him and how he plays into my life, thanking him for the great care he gives me and for his obedience to The Holy of Holies.
With my eyes open I felt someone move on my right, a real feeling of nearness. There was nothing there except a puffy white feather floating down from above my head into my hands resting on my lap. I couldn't help but laugh out loud.

If God choose too, He could do everything Himself. But He chooses to use His angels and ourselves who are, if we choose to be His angels-on-earth.

So when I ask for something I expect it is the angels fixing things up. I have always found this idea very helpful and am always on the lookout for these angels, who are often human, answering the promptings of the Holy Spirit.

When people are very good and kind they so resemble angels.

Soldiers who fight for good causes remind me of Saint Michael the Arcangel.

Nurses and doctors remind me of Saint Raphael.

Those who talk only good of others remind me of Saint Gabriel.

We are never far away from angels, one way or the other.
At the end of the day we shall be judged on love.
